Your first visit

Here's what to expect when visiting VC Kids for the first time:

Our fantastic team of trained staff are dedicated to ensuring your kids have a blast while you’re enjoying the Sunday Experience in our sanctuary. Who says church can’t be fun?

When visiting us for the first time, we suggest arriving about 20 minutes before our start time at 10:45am and make your way to our Kids Check-In Desk located to the right of our lobby. This will allow us to register your family. We want you to feel safe knowing your child is in good hands. We look forward to welcoming your family soon.

 

Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone): 

 

• Parent/guardian name(s)

• Child's name

• Child's birthdate

• Home address

• Phone number

• Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children

How Check in Works

Before Service: You can check-in your child at our child check in station. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag.

 

After Service: After the service is complete, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.

 

During Service: In the event that we need to contact you during the service, you will receive a text from the number that you gave when checking in your child. We ask that you exit the sanctuary immediately and look for a staff member or volunteer who will direct you to your child’s room.

We do ask that if the doors are still closed at the end of service that you wait until the doors have been opened to get your children. Just as much as God moves in the the adult services, God does the same with our kids. Let's let them have an encounter with Jesus too.
