Frequently Asked Questions

Service times, directions, and what to expect upon your first visit to Victory Center

Getting to know each other

We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Victory Center a great one!

When and Where are the services?

We meet at the same time and same place, 1190 E. Fairground Street in Marion, Ohio.

SUNDAYS | 10:45AM and WEDNESDAYS | 7:00PM

What should I wear?

There is no dress code for attending services at VC. Some attenders dress casually and some dress up—it’s all good! You are free to come exactly as you are, so wear whatever you are most comfortable in.

What happens when I arrive?

When you arrive at a service at VC, you will be greeted with a friendly smile while walking into our lobby. Make sure you step up to our Welcome Center to receive a free gift just for checking us out. Then you can check your kids into our kids’ ministry, VC Kids. There will be a 5-minute countdown to let you know when service will start, so you can be sure to get your seat before the service begins!

What is service like?

In total, a Victory Center service is about 90 minutes in length. We usually start our experiences with a few announcements about what’s happening at our church through video and/or live communicators. Then our Worship team will lead the church in a time of Praise and Worship - song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable.  We’ll then continue our worship through an offering, which flows right into the weekend message. Most weekends, our Lead Pastor, Patrick Demuth will preach. Then our services close with a time to respond to God in both worship and prayer.

What about my kids?

Our VC Kids ministry provides an amazing experience at every service. The safety of our VC Kids are a top priority at VC. When you arrive at the VC Kids check-in area our team will register your children and give them a name badge with a parent pick-up tag. Please let us know if your child has any allergies or special requirements during the check-in time. If we need to contact you during service, you will receive a text at the number you provided during the initial registration process. At the end of the service, simply show your parent pick-up tag to a teacher in your child’s classroom and your child will be released to you.
